Consent — yours to obtain, hard to get wrong
You are responsible for getting consent where you work and live. Continuo helps you do it right: it detects consent signals in the meeting, tells you when consent has NOT been detected, and if someone appears to withdraw consent, it asks for your confirmation before anything else happens. Nothing durable is kept until notice is out there.

Why that matters
Many companies prohibit retaining meeting transcripts at all — a tool that stores them is a tool you can't use at work. Continuo's default keeps you inside that policy: the durable record is professional minutes, not a verbatim log.
In privileged settings — attorney-client, medical, HR — a stored recording is a liability. And raw recordings taken out of context can misrepresent what a room actually meant. The cited work product says what was decided, by whom, without keeping the tape.
And what is saved, is yours
The knowledge that does land — minutes, decisions, your brain — is encrypted at rest on your disk, under your account. Media expires; knowledge persists. Public builds send at most an anonymous, content-free crash report.

How does consent work?
Get consent, every meeting — it's the professional standard, and Continuo makes it the easy path. On virtual calls, people can be joining from anywhere, so the one rule that always works is simple: everyone knows, every time. Continuo has your back: it detects consent signals (a notice in chat, in the invite, or spoken), tells you when consent hasn't been detected, asks for your confirmation if someone appears to withdraw it, and keeps nothing durable until notice is given. Obtaining consent is always yours to do, and rules do vary by place — check yours here (not legal advice):
Does audio or a transcript ever touch my disk?
No — by default, never. Audio, screen captures, and verbatim transcripts exist only in RAM while your machine processes them, and are gone once the knowledge is saved. If your policies allow keeping recording material, you can opt in explicitly, with a retention period you control. The default keeps nothing.
My company bans storing transcripts. Can I use this?
That ban is usually about retained verbatim records — which Continuo's default never creates. What's stored is professional work product: minutes, decisions, actions. Check with your IT and policy owners — and show them this page; the architecture was built for exactly that conversation.
Will people see a bot in my meeting?
No. Nothing joins the call and nothing touches the meeting platform — no extra participant, no plugin. Continuo is invisible to the platform, never to people: participants know because you tell them, and Continuo makes sure that notice actually happened.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 11 today; macOS is on the way. Launching in English plus the most common working languages — dozens, not hundreds, prioritized by demand. RAM sets when your documents finish, never their quality:
